Pros

The lower level workers (project managers and below ) are very nice and hard working people who seem to really want to own their work and make a difference. However, aside from not being unemployed, there is no pro to the contract or the company.

Cons

Everything else. Pay is not good, empty promises, and terrible/dehumanizing treatment by management. Constantly threatened laying off people if production doesn't increase. Constantly laid people off even though they performed up to tastasKs planning on laying off more folks. Managers are typically unqualified and overworked, making it hard for them to actually manage. Ultimately, and sadly, NTT DATA did not deliver the services they promised - seemed like a bunch of BS that is being delivered. CIO and CISO are possibly the worst offenders of the BS. Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
