Pros

Coffee machine Genuinely experienced people who you can learn from Good effort to get the team to work together despite failures Good for contracting. Run away if it is fulltime.

Cons

Massive turnover in recent months. Almost like an exodus. Overtime is the norm. Don't bother complaining about it. You'll just get shot down and it will affect your overall feedback. Horrible management team that ignores clear signs of failure and ignores feedback from the people getting the work done. Weekend and holiday work is demanded, not expected. Poorly resourced projects with only a handful of people doing an unprecedented amount of work. Lack of care for employee health as long as client gets what they want(Which they never do anyways) Overly ambitious deadlines that they know can't be met.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
