Pros

I guess if you want to do low end IT technology consulting as part of a managed service its ok and the London offices are in a very good location.

Cons

NTT DATA in the UK does not know who they want to be. This may (in part) be reflected by the massive egos of the senior management who like to believe they are akin to McKinsey's/Bain's etc but know deep down they do low end IT services projects and bodyshopping. Perhaps they are embarassed or don't want to see reality however the dearth of real c-suite relationships or real strategy projects is the true picture. NTT DATA is a IT bodyshop (look at all the strategic staffing hires - now rebranded to Partners & Alliances) but they just cant seem to be honest and instead talk vaguely about 'Japanese innovation' and changing the world. Junior consultants know this and the good ones are just waiting to leave whilst the ones who were sold the 'Digital' or 'Start-up consulting' dream to leave Deloitte/PWC seethe in annoyance they got suckered in.

Pros

- Strong global presence allows for diverse projects, clients, and opportunities - Enabled and encouraged to learn new technologies, use tools, and grow skills - Generally supportive teams and cross collaboration - Great work-life balance in many roles

Cons

- Compensation and raises can be slow, infrequency, and below market - Personal Development review process can be unclear and slow - Processes and decision making around them can feel very outdated, there seems to be a lack of structure and clarity around many HR and business operations areas - Very little employee recognition - Critical benefits information isn’t distributed well and there is zero follow up actions to ensure we have all important access/accounts set up
