Pros

Great pay, decent product/market offerings (although market has similar if not better), and good teammates. Really good marketing, it's exactly what they want you to think it is. They tell you everything you want to hear while maintaining eye contact.

Cons

There are 4 management styles and only one is effective, helping people achieve their personal goals in a rewards-based environment. Management rules with an iron fist and is entrenched in old-school, outdated practices. The culture is work hard not smart (if you consider that one). Unnecessary and unneeded high-pressure in areas where it's not needed. The good part is it's a matter of time until an outdated model breaks itself. Conclusion: It's essentially the opposite of whatever your favorite company is.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
