Pros

Excellent benefits package (Pay, Time off, Incentives, etc...)

Cons

Like most, if not all, of the IT industry, work-life balance can be challenging. You can live comfortably under the radar; but, if you want to advance, you need to choose high-visible projects which translates into greater scrutiny, stress, and work hours. Contrary to the 37.5 hour work week advertised by the company, 50-60 hour weeks were average for me with prolonged spikes of 65-70 hrs/week. However, that varies among individual work habits and job positions. There are office politics; but, that's true anywhere there are people working.

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
