Pros

-Training is beneficial to job responsibilities -Good preparation for new hires to take licensing exam and paying for the cost (so initial investment in new hire is great). - Advancement opportunities are good, better than in banking industry! - Benefits especially disability insurance is a perk (free short term and long term is very reasonable -Performance based bonuses and time off priority (like it should be! not just longevity of time on the job).

Cons

- Distance to travel (working in call center in central phoenix) to work from east valley - Management spends a lot of time in meetings and should be more available to employees. - Somewhat flexible with life balance. Needs to be a little more flexible with working moms.

Pros

Work from home, only in office twice a month

Cons

-Extremely high paced -Too many claims. Caseload is way too big. -Super stressful having to deal with customers. A lot of them don’t understand insurance or what their policy covers so you will constantly deal with pissed off uninformed insureds -metrics are unrealistic and unattainable. You need to have a 98% answer rate but at the same time you have a million cases and people calling you constantly so this is impossible to achieve. On top of that you have to actually document and determine liability. -Awful work life balance
