Hard to explain...good & bad - Auto Claims Adjuster Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

The upper management does send out surveys a lot to hear our voices and they try to make changes to make it better for us. however it seems we've had the same issues for years. You get a bonus every year based on your performance, we get "shine points" which you can cash in for gift cards or items. For the most part it's a friendly atmosphere. They want you to promote from within and continue moving up. Benefits, 401k. Work from home.

Cons

VERY high stress in the auto claims world. Also in the call center as well. It's very hard to take off work in the claims department. The way everything is set up there is never not a time when you don't have an over load of work/customers. Then if you take time off it gets dumped on your team who is already over worked. The pay really doesn't seem worth it for the stress in my opinion.

Pros

There are no pros to working here. I just thought of one, you have a chance to work remotely so you don’t have to see your toxic, incompetent manager in person every day.

Cons

Toxic, hostile culture Favoritism to the extreme 50-60 hours a week work but get paid for 40 Being forced to give your manager a 9-10 on a survey when they don’t deserve it to avoid fear of retaliation Coworkers crying and having panic attacks on a daily basis Just everything
