Pros

Flexible shift start times arrive anywhere between 7:30 am and 9:00 am Well known company Work from home Supposedly we get a pension. Immediate 8 weeks of STD upon hire 20 days bereavement if your spouse or child dies. 3 days for everyone else still.

Cons

No bank of sick days provided. Required to use your vacation days. Accrue 1.5 days a month in most job levels (grades). Favoritism is a big thing with this company. HR is of no help. You’ll create a case and never hear from anyone. There is also a lot of racial tensions in a particular office. A woman who was with the company was passed up by someone who was here for a year and only had supervisory experience for a specialist claims position. Health insurance at Liberty Mutual is terrible now. United Healthcare CDHP option with $3,000 deductible for families and $1,500 deductible for individuals and prescriptions are out of pocket as well until that deductible is met. FSA is gone. Only have the HSA now. You would think an “insurance” company would offer a superior insurance product at the least. Dental is ok with $2,000 yearly max and vision is ok. They also took away the incentives (money) for having good fitness, getting a check up and doing healthy activities.. Now it’s contests that have yet to be announced how to even sign up for.

Pros

Remote flexibility. Extensive training and licensing period.

Cons

Not a real inbound sales position. You speak with dummies spitting their information to third party websites promising them cheap insurance. Then those people claim “you called me!”
