Pros

You'll work with very intelligent people and you'll get very real overall expectations from a high level about how they expect each market segment to perform. Depending on the role you will get many perks - golf, lunches, various outings to "network".

Cons

Very little transparency about performance expectations. You'll be expected to just want to take over projects without being told about what they are or how to do it and then criticized for not having done so. People just disappear on the floor without really knowing if they quit or were fired. Its a very cut throat atmosphere. It was discussed one day out of 39 positions in the past year only 8 people remained 5 years later in that group. It is not stated but highly implied that employees should not take lunches and should work 10 hour days and often on weekends if needed. It is not uncommon for there to be 10-15 people still working on the floor at 7pm.

Pros

Good insurance. The Atlanta office was more flexible with remote/hybrid work

Cons

The politics. People devalue teammates. Constantly changing direction so no meaningful impact can be made. Not a lot of diversity. If you don’t ask how someone’s kids are, you get complaints that you’re cold and difficult. Got there and a reorg killed the reason I was hired and was never provided with any sort of hope of growth opportunities.
