Pros
Its been almost 3 years for me and I'm still as energized to get to work today as I was on day 1. Nearly everyone that I have worked with has been helpful and receptive to my questions and ideas. On a daily basis we are challenged to seek improvements to our processes. Never compromising ethics or compliance with the law to achieve the end result. The culture here is focused on our Guiding Principles; Integrity, Compliance, Value Creation and Humility to name just a few. These principles are not just slogans or wall art, they are the very foundation which everything is built on. The most impressive "pro" for me would be all levels of the KBS management team. From the company president, CFO or board members to the supervisors that are in the trenches, its evident that each of them are committed to ensuring a positive and collaborative environment. My team leader has been proactive in several team building activities to ensure we function as a team.
Cons
I have to think about the "cons" as i have not had many negative moments since I started. The one con that comes to mind would be the consistent extra time that is necessary to ensure projects or activities are completed to meet time frames. However, as I have gained more experience, I realize that I can help this through improved focus on the right things and not always saying yes or committing to an activity that is not related to a top priority.
