Pros

Everyone's super friendly, there are lots of really great mentorship/networking opportunities. Tons of return offers are given out, they really value recruiting through the internship. It is also very hands-on, I was working independently on projects like I was a first-year employee after the first 2-3 weeks.

Cons

The biggest draw of working at Koch is that you have to be in Wichita which from someone not from Kansas isnt really something I'm looking for. It seems like people don't really leave or move to different companies because its the biggest fish in the small Kansas pond. For certain positions, you kind of just have to wait for someone to die or retire. They also almost over do it with their culture, it seems like they were forcing it down your throat like ALL the time.

Pros

Good insurance. The Atlanta office was more flexible with remote/hybrid work

Cons

The politics. People devalue teammates. Constantly changing direction so no meaningful impact can be made. Not a lot of diversity. If you don’t ask how someone’s kids are, you get complaints that you’re cold and difficult. Got there and a reorg killed the reason I was hired and was never provided with any sort of hope of growth opportunities.
