Pros

Good benefits and okay pay

Cons

The management is terrible and work ethic is very corporate. They expect you to get everything done even when communicating that there's some scheduling overlap. For example, I was scheduled to be doing two things at once for 3 days in a row. You would be like well how does that happen or just notify your leader/management right? Well I did. I have 3 mangers to report to and all of them think they're hot sh!+. So nothing got communicated back to me and I got chewed out for not being elsewhere when I was at, what seemed like to me, the most important job site. They bate and switch you into think this company is so nice and well organized, but they're not. Just a bunch of grown babies running outdated HVAC control systems. They preach about how important safety is to them. I got laughed at in a training meeting mentioning if we should turn down a job if it's unsafe. Mind you I asked because I just experienced what seemed to me an unsafe environment where the commissioning agent , myself and one other individual clearly smelled a natural gas leak. I was still expected to work there, but we get thought to notify and leave until the leak is discovered.

Pros

Decent base pay and fast paced work makes the days go by quickly. Lately the company has been actually investing in their new product lines ever since Joakim became our CEO.

Cons

The compensation is lacking. No bonuses whatsoever for senior level engineers even when they're recognized as a key contributor on the team. We are given our 401k match on March 1st to cover the previous year's matches so you lose out on a lot of the year's market gains. The healthcare coverage is mediocre at best for a fortune 500 company. The raises are still given like it's 2018; 3% is considered a "good" merit increase. This is due to the "forced distribution" merit increase system where only "so many" people can receives "above expectations" raises.
