Pros

Loved the team, pay was acceptable, and the big name helped when acquiring new accounts. With such a large install base of proprietary equipment it made the service selling so much easier.

Cons

company restructures every three months and is so big that anything outside of the HVAC was not readily know by internal staff. had to figure out what went into a new business projection on my own over the course of 3 months.

Pros

Excellent office culture...we have each other's back and everyone is there for each other on the quest to provide the best customer experience. We bring a, "whatever it takes" mentality to our workday. Best part of our job is our work family.

Cons

High pressure industry that must be managed daily. We save lives! That brings a heavy responsibility to what we do and means we must remain focused at all times.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
