Pros

1. Supportive managers that allows some degree of flexibility 2. Ability to work from abroad for a maximum of 30 days 3. Seeing the products of your company daily across the globe and on-site 4. Salary on-par with industry average 5. Opportunity to learn new tools and up-skill in those areas 6. I like that the company is doing its best to become agile

Cons

1. Some departments don't really have in-depth software development. It's mainly troubleshooting and extinguishing fires. I would choose wisely and ask questions. 2. The expectation is to appear on-site 1 or 2 a week but I realise that I am not as productive as when I work from home. Managers simply want to see you there so that they don't feel lonely. 1 or 2 a month would suffice and satisfactory results would still be delivered (remember covid??) 3. Not everyone has access to training platforms such as Pluralsight or Udemy. 4. You don't really interact much with the products. (i.e. Vehicles inside buildings are mostly locked and you're unable to inspect the interior) 5. Weak vehicle purchase scheme. You do get car discounts on some vehicles from the company but you still get a better deal from external platforms such as auto-trader or car wow. 5. I work for a vehicle manufacturing company and I find that exciting. But I am unable to drive/experience the products. Why not have a scheme to allow me to rent a car for up to x number days and limit this experience to 1 or 2 times a year? - Even for a fee

Pros

Great work life balance Supportive environment

Cons

If you fall in the less than 3 years experience bucket, your best shot is the new graduate positions which have terrible pay and full-time employment after 2-years is not guaranteed.
