Pros

Fantastic clients, very bright and hard working colleagues, commitment from global CEO to keep improving industry leadership. Interbrand's client base and portfolio is strong and the business challenges that we help solve are very intellectually stimulating. The work environment is good, usually relaxed with strong intellectual integrity. There are many very talented people here. Every day brings something new, keeps you on your toes and challenged (but that is the nature of consulting). The company has very high standards for work quality and collaboration is encouraged. Clients are viewed as partners and are often very involved in creating solutions (not a black box).

Cons

Knowledge sharing is weak, lack of investment in employee development. They are working on improving both. There tends to be a lot of great solutions developed and not shared due to a lack of time-on to the next thing. The review process is well set up but feedback is not timely and comes back channel (but this depends on the manager). Communication within practices across offices is often lacking. Employee accomplishments are inconsistently recognized and there is a sink - or - swim approach to training and development. The company policy seems to be to hire bright people and let them figure out what they should be doing...

Pros

-Fun, smart people -Big name clients and (some) interesting projects -Decent work-life balance (but this is not true for everyone/ every role)

Cons

-Lots of change and many rounds of layoffs in the last year+ -Many big-egoed senior leaders who are difficult to work with and do not care about team's development -Projects can become very rinse and repeat; ultimately most clients have the same fundamental brand problems -Recent austerity measures due to IPG acquisition + internal politics = VERY slow to promote people -Once you reach a certain level, your growth maxes out unless you are buddies with the CEO and able to get into a global leadership position -Mandated 3 days/week in-office for ALL employees regardless of role, situation, or location
