You do your 40hours/week and that's all, no one expects you to work extra for free. Interesting projects and technologies. Easy to have a life outside work.
Cons
The salary you enter with is what your going to have for years to come. Raises are almost non-existent (with or without global crisis). Sometimes difficult to change projects and find an interesting one to work in.
