Pros

The first year and a half are what have made my professional growth what it is today and have set me apart in the market (most of those team members are no longer at ING) It can be a great place if you stay focused and remember to leave after a couple of years. Largely depends on the team you're on. There are a lot of eager people who get stuck here because of the great banking benefits in Spain and don't want to leave.

Cons

- Organizational transformations every 6 months makes it difficult to finish projects - you would also get a new set of managers that came from a different area of the bank and had no idea what your job was so you had to fight for it and gain respect all over again. - I was called into a meeting because of my response to an anonymous Happiness survey (so many red flags here) - I was bullied and hazed by a coworker for about 6 months - my boss told me to stick it out - he didn't like confrontation and preferred to sweep it under the rug. - Secrecy around levels and salaries: There were no levels for most job roles so you couldn't get a reasonable raise or make a case for one - The person next to you could be making 40k more than you and technically have the same role.
