Pros
Unlike many Spanish companies, Hotelbeds in general respects labour laws (at least in form if not in substance) and is one of the best employers around (though the bar is extremely low). They pay on time. They offer some benefits to employees such as a free company bus. Swanky offices. A lot of talent and probably the best place to network on the island. Good salary and benefits if you are British and/or you are in the right circles. Great Christmas parties.
Cons
Absolutely no opportunities of growth no matter how valuable you are or how much you break your back, if you are not friends or family with the right people, you'll stay the same forever. Notably better career opportunities and salaries offered to British employees. Some people end up accepting their starting salary and job here all of their lives because the local employment situation is horrendous. This produces a very large mass of uninspired, robotic, routine workers who are just there for the paycheck and the Chrismas Party. Senior management is overwhelmingly a Boys Club. Extremely conservative environment, extremely slow at innovation. Very corporate, stiff culture. No values.
