Pros
Very flexible from a WFH, working hours, etc perspective if you're on the right team/have a good boss; people are very nice and mostly high performers; employee hotel rates are pretty good
Cons
Benefits are pretty meh/borderline bad in terms of maternity leave, medical plan, time off is decent but isn't unlimited, bereavement leave is pitiful (only 5 days when my mother passed away, I was expected to use PTO or take unpaid leave for any "additional grief time"). There is also a lot of expectations in terms of drinking the Kool aid and believing you're there for a purpose that isn't just making a major corporation money. They don't pay great but aren't the worst, mat leave isn't the worst I've ever seen but isn't great, etc. But even with all that, they still think everyone should feel super privileged and lucky to be there, and are stunned beyond belief when someone would leave for more money, fully remote, unlimited PTO, etc
