      Pros

      Being able to work from home is the only reason to do this job.

      Cons

      Even with experience, no opportunity to advance. Bonus programs changed to minimize how much they have to pay top performers. Paid time off is difficult to get approved and constant abuse from horrible customers.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
