      Pros

      I liked the people I worked with and felt like they actually cared about their jobs. The work life balance was pretty good, and the discounted hotel rates were great.

      Cons

      Towards the end I didn't full trust that higher leadership knew what they were doing. Projects were very stop and start, one week it's a top priority and then the next it's being shelved. Then they fired my entire department and left our partner teams to absorb the work.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
