Pros

Upper management is really investing in mid and lower management as well as clinic level staff. Lots of room for advancement for those who want to be excellent at what they do!

Cons

Dialysis is very fulfilling, but it is hard work. It either grabs you, or it's not your thing.

Pros

Great company to build a long-term career in dialysis. Fresenius offers good medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and there are opportunities for growth if you want to advance your career. One of the biggest advantages is the tuition assistance program for employees pursuing their RN, which makes continuing your education more affordable. The company also provides specialized dialysis training, helping you gain valuable skills and experience in nephrology. If you’re motivated and interested in growing within the organization, there are opportunities to move into leadership or other clinical roles.

Cons

As an LVN, it can sometimes be challenging to balance nursing responsibilities while also performing dialysis technician duties. Your role may vary from day to day—you might be assigned as the LVN one shift and float or work in a technician capacity the next. Because of this, flexibility is essential. Daily assignments can change based on patient census and staffing needs, so being adaptable is important for success in the role.
