Room for improvement, but solid among similar employers. - Call Receiver Foundever Employee Review

Pros

Monthly performance bonus. I made on average an extra $230 a month, every month. You do have to meet the required metrics, but it is doable, and they do pay out consistently. I received small, but pretty typical raises at the 90 day and 6 month marks. (25 cents and 50 cents) No discussion or review, they just appear on your paystub like viola. I've been with Sitel for 7 months so I can only comment on raises within that period. I have very few tech issues with the company-provided equipment and system downtime is minimal. Friendships are encouraged through instant messaging and an overall friendly environment in chat rooms. This is not the case with other companies I have worked for. Opportunities for growth. Some include pay raises, some do not, but there is a ladder and it is climbable.

Cons

Communication is terrible. When campaigns are ending, rumors fly, and there is very little concrete information as to your future. I got put on another campaign, but some people will be laid off. Again, this is based on your performance. The person who referred me to Sitel never got her referral bonus for me or others she referred who qualified. (Must be employed for 90 days) That is very shady.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
