Pros

Not sure at this moment. Waiting to see once in production. Will update. NOTE: I was hired by SYKES to find out in orientation that Sitel Group bought them. Not sure how I feel about that.

Cons

I will say so far we have had 3 days @ 3 hrs/day of orientation that could have been done in a day. Training...we are on day 2 and we have not covered one thing about the job yet. Lots of sitting and wasting time. I realize it's paid, but I have plenty of things I could be doing with my time. I will update once in production.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
