Pros
I learned a lot at Flowserve. When the company was good, it was really good. But when the company was bad, it was REALLY bad. You can wear jeans everyday, summer work hours throughout the entire year, free soda, great benefits, pension plan, winter break. The perfect company on paper.
Cons
The layoffs and employee morale. Imagine not knowing if you're going to have a job or not. Watching co-workers being walked out of the office? Seeing names disappearing from the front of offices? This is what's happening at Flowserve. None of those perks are worth it when you don't even know how long they're going to last. I wouldn't recommend.
