Pros
Depending on where you live the starting pay could be decent. Benefits for part-time is nice but the insurance is bs you’ll be paying out of pocket for everything but preventative care. That’s literally it.
Cons
Unprofessional management Complete lack of integrity in management and some co-workers Rampant favoritism Constantly changing schedules Non-existent work/life balance Outdated technology Old trucks that are in a state of constant disrepair. Daily breakdowns sometimes multiple trucks a day. Constant changing of benefits- ex. They recently took away the minimum hours benefit. So if your part time you’d be guaranteed 17 hours even if you worked less and 35 hours for full time. This was the only reason besides health insurance that one of our workers got this job, they had no problem pulling the rug out from under him. Our senior manager acted like a child whenever an employee had constructive criticism, how can someone that ignorant be put in that position? Way to go fx They can and will change the raise system whenever they feel including not even giving you one. I could go on for about 10 more paragraphs about how much poorly this company is run but I’ll save us both some time. The recent changes in corporate tax saved the company billions they gave us a raise 6 months early, that’s it. Their people service profit philosophy is a complete joke to the frontline employees. Their is only one word that sums up their policies PROFIT. The don’t care about their employees, they care how much money the can make off your blood and sweat. Worst job I’ve ever had good luck to people just starting out.
