Pros
Clients. That is all. FDM is exceptionally connected.
Cons
Get a pen and start writing. Salary minimum**, 0 benefits, lies within the company, no paid sick leave. Basically, anything that comes to mind is a NO. You cant even choose the route you want to go if they have a client they want to place you with you have to say yes. I honestly think that if there was a job that i couldn't do it would be this one as an account manager and manager in this company. They get some really bright graduates and they lie all day and night knowing that this is not going to be nice. It will be a horrible experience that you can't get out of. It will offer you the chance!!!!! to go very far with your career but kid the next two years of your life is ours......you need to rent a place in London? We don't care the salary is the same and you don't really need to eat. Check the benefits section and see for yourselves!!!!!! You find a job and now all you need to do to start getting payed is to find a job!!!! They will even ask you to create your CV in third person so they can present it to the clients as they have done it. You get all kinds of people when you join. People who come in and all they do is judge, people who come in and say "I am really amazing at what i do", but most important they all say "It is up to you to find a job".....Please tell me what are you doing then? "I only use this word in special occasions but this is malarkey"..... Everything you hear in this agent company is meant to deceive from the first phone call till you get placed. Possibly the worse thing is the feeling that whatever you have done so far does not matter. MSc??? who cares. Everyone is the same whether he has studied to be a Chef, Computer science or a gardener (obviously no offence to any kind of work) but this feeling is diminishing. As a last resort and if you can support yourself during training which is no less than 10 weeks no matter what you are promised by the recruiters go for it they have the best clients around. However, there have been cases of people getting to work after six months or even more or even getting sacked. Plus they are so well in the loophole so that if they sack you you cannot claim anything. One last thing, i would honestly like to meet the person who gave a price tag to one week courses.....I assume he is either in jail for conning someone else or with an IQ of a bee and obviously does not have a degree him/herself or he would offend himself as well. **To clarify what the clients pay for us as consultants is amazing. FDM is keeping more than 60% for themselves.
