Thanks for your feedback. We always value input to help us continually improve the FDM Careers Programme. We’re so glad you see the value that FDM has to offer recent graduates looking to get experience and exposure at some of the world’s top companies. I’d like to address some of your points of concern to hopefully provide some clarification:
- We stand by the quality of our training, which is designed quite closely to be fit for purpose with the current demands of the industry. We tailor this in collaboration with our clients, who associate FDM Consultants with high calibre of training.
- If there is time between your sign-off from training and your placement start date onsite with the client, there are a number of important and engaging things that we encourage you to be doing beyond updating your CV. FDM always supports continued learning and skills advancement. If this opportunity was not made clear to you, we suggest you contact Liam.Jons@fdmgroup.com to discuss this issue further so we can ensure it doesn’t happen again in the future.
- Our talented Consultants are truly FDM’s greatest asset, so if you have been treated otherwise by a member of FDM staff then this is something we take quite seriously. We encourage you to contact Human.Resources@fdmgroup.com so we can discuss and hopefully resolve this issue further.
- We do our absolute best to be fully transparent with regards to the salary and holiday policies up front, so if there is a way we should be communicating this differently we are absolutely open to your suggestions. FDM’s aim is to train our Consultants to the highest standard and give them exposure working for prestigious clients, setting them up for lucrative career progression after their two-year contractual commitment is complete.
- We do, in fact, reward Consultants in a number of ways. Every month, we select 4 Consultant of the Month winners from around the globe, based on nominations from the clients themselves. The FDM Stars initiative recognises 4-5 individuals each month who have gone especially above and beyond in their role. Consultants who are interested in being a point of contact and helping other FDMers in making their transition to the client site also have the opportunity to apply to be a Consultant Support Ambassador. This position includes additional compensation. We truly love highlighting and celebrating the accomplishments of our Consultants, so these reward initiatives are important programmes that have been in place at FDM for many years.
We see that you are still a current employee. Your feedback is valuable and we’d like the opportunity to discuss any suggestions for improvement you may have, so please feel free to contact Consultant Support, HR or myself directly.
