Pros

- They accept contractors - Competitive salary - A lot of internal tools - Ability to level up after an technical interview

Cons

FALSE PROMISES, THEY LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH - I was hired under the premise of an internal transfer to the US via L1B visa (even got an offer as an extension to my contract saying so), oops, just got a mail saying the demand is low, we expect delays (aka never), tough luck. We are HUNDREDS hired under this premise and only 2 open positions in the US from Epam visible on our internal platform. - The managers/HRs advertise how you can change the project if the current one doesn't suit your needs. Technically you can do that, in reality there is no project to be moved to. Same as for relocation.. - Delivery manages care only about the client. - Lot of east european clients/colleagues

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
