Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working at EL. I am grateful for the opportunity to work at such a creative and successful agency. I feel that it was a very valuable experience and have learned a lot and improved my skills quite a bit in the past year. My time at EL has starkly contrasted from my time spent working at other places, and I know that this is not just a mere accident, the entire team here has managed to create an open environment that encourages both responsibility and productivity. I never felt like anyone was telling me what to do or constantly looking over my shoulder, but conversely if I had questions or needed direction, I felt I could always and easily approach my co-workers and superiors and get constructive feedback. EL is a fast paced atmosphere, so be prepared to be very busy, but I rarely experienced the nighmare 80 hour week, agencies are reputedly known for. This is really the first job I have had that I have enjoyed. Perhaps I have high standards concerning how I spend my waking hours, but I prefer to spend my time in a positive, energetic, collaborative, successful environment. Certainly every job has is downsides and people love to gripe, but in my opinion, this is a great place to work.

Cons

Would prefer to work on a Mac instead of a PC. Would prefer using up to date design software. Too much beer in the fridge on Friday's, no room for my lunch.

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
