Pros
The benefits at Discover Card are amazing! At day one I already had medical and PTO accruing. Not many companies compete with that alone. There is opportunity to grow as well which is a major plus if you are looking to climb a latter of success.
Cons
The gossip and backstabbing in this place is horrible. Learning how to play the game is an absolute must if you intend on making Discover Card a career. I worked hard to escape this by landing a management position only to realize that it was even worse up in the higher levels. There are good leaders in the company but there many are that don't belong in management. Might as well work at American Express since they will compensate you at a higher rate for the same work.
