Pros

It has a great company culture, highy driven by performance and metrics. Very reasonable work-life balance and expectations. Overall benefits are competitive and Dell makes tremendous investments in individual learning and training. Individual contributors are encouraged to take ownership of issues and drive solutions with cross-functional teams as needed.

Cons

Can be repetitive work and feel like working in a silo. Easy to get overlooked by management given fast-paced environment. You feel the effects of industry down cycles and the ocassional promotion and pay freezes and possible layoffs, though compared to my semiconductor work experience, must less stressful and painful cutbacks.

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
