Pros

One of the few local employers here that pay a livable wage. The company does do many things for the local and surrounding communities.

Cons

When lines go away and jobs are lost those workers are displaced to other areas in the plant. For instance a person working 13 years on a first shift may get forced to another shift until they find another job within the plant. That's if there is job postings to try and get. Meanwhile there are temporary employees working a first shift in other areas where the displaced workers could work. While on displacement you have 1 year to find that other job otherwise they will place you wherever they want. In most cases it's a third shift in the assembly area.

Pros

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
