Pros

Great perks: extra vacation days, museum admissions, beauty sales, brand recognition etc. Good place to start if you are new to your field or looking to gain some experience, or if you are more of a senior role looking to make your personal stamp in a large company.

Cons

The mid levels positions seem to dwindle and Conde Nast a company that honestly shows little loyalty to their employees that work hard for them. Seen lots of lay offs from different brands and departments and "corporate restructuring". They seem to find some of their talented employees expendable. Great place for newcomers or senior levels but mid level people be weary. Your HR team works hard to find you great talent, learn to utilize your employees for their skills instead of creating a high turnover for your company. Environment in the corporate section seems very much like high school and very cliquey. Very much corporate and lacking transparency.

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
