Pros

Some great people within the company

Cons

Since merging with Webhelp, Concentrix has systematically been regressing via multiple business decisions which are based solely on financial impact with no consideration for the impact on colleagues or clients. Webhelp practices have been adopted across the board, despite these having been proven in the past to be ineffective and result in higher levels of absence & attrition as well as poorer performance vs KPIs. Staff work/life balance is not considered at all, with management expected to work seven days a week as well as being available from 8am to 9pm. Having worked for Concentrix for over 10 years, I saw these practices in place before subsequently being replaced with a positive way of working around five years ago. This was a genuinely good place to work for several years, with good work/life balance, strong performance, happy clients and previously unheard of profitability. However, as more and more Webhelp practices were taken on board these all reverted to how things were 10 years ago with sadly predictable consequences. Attrition increased, absence increased, staff engagement decreased, performance decreased and client satisfaction reached an all time low. The short-sighted view of pinching every penny possible will undoubtedly lead to disaster in the long term, however senior management are unwilling to listen to their employees and insist on crashing head-first from one fire-fighting disaster to another. Multiple departments have been stripped to the bare bones, workload has increased, promises to communicate more effectively have not been kept and pay has remained static (decreasing significantly in real terms). Overall, I wouldn’t wish the experience of working for Concentrix on anyone and have advised all my friends & former-colleagues to get out as soon as they can. A thoroughly despicable company who don’t care about their staff.

Pros

A lot of great people with tremendous learning opportunities. My program is 24x7 so if willing to work nights and weekends, you can earn a higher rate of pay. Never boring and a lot to learn which works well for me!

Cons

Things can be very fast paced. Some people feel overwhelmed because there is a lot to learn.

Pros

The people and team leads are nice for where I work.

Cons

For a new contract no one really knows a lot about the retailer. We are told one thing in training now other people coming in are told something else. The benefits are strange. They have medical dental and vision. But, they have no sick time at all? No vacation the pto is accrued which is fine but let’s say you need to see a doctor you can’t use it because you have to put in 2 weeks in advance? You get points for anything and everything under the sun? That I don’t understand. I worked through the years for a lot of companies and third party retailers and it was never like that. I just think no federal holiday time off is not so good especially if it’s a religious kind of holiday a family holiday.
