Pros

Fun and upbeat environment. High traffic environment in outlet locations. Freedom to express opinions and implement new store function ideas.

Cons

Advancement; look past or made unfulfilled promises, denied promotions, and hiring for Associate management was secretive. Associate managers hired and the assistant is relied on to train of all known knowledge. Teamshare / aka monthly bonus rewards, Reasonable store goals set but at the end of month Coach would change promotions to prevent stores from making bonus. Assistant manager compared to Associate manager; Same work duties (or more) less pay, benefits and reward $'s are less for assistant manager. No DM touchbases with assistant to help grow to next level. Touchbases happen with store manager to help grow with the company but outcome has no resolution or suggestions for growth. Employee discount is useless as customers are able to use all discounts (mailer, in-store, etc) and associates are unable to use mailer coupons which gives customers a larger overall discount. Customer pricing is always better than employee discount pricing. Pay as a customer or don't buy. Outlet merchandise marked higher then retail pricing, makes no sense to purchase as an employee

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
