Pros

good discount, brand in itself is good quality and the customer service they stress ends up benefiting you in the long run. reputable company also- people know coach is higher end fashion.

Cons

my store specifically, but perhaps not the company as a whole: management is brutal. super micro managing boss, plus nail polish could not be a shade off without being penalized. you can NOT call in sick, because if they are short staffed they couldnt care less about your health. you are consistently drilled on procedures that you already know regardless of how long you've been there. you can NOT move up in the company. they rather higher a new keyholder from god knows where then promote a f/t sales associate. if you are one minutue late coming from break lunch or otherwise you are not paid for that hour. worst of all, at a minimum wage salary with barley any raise, you are expected to "update uniform" almost every half year it seems: the clothes on the uniform they recc is 100, 200, 160, etc. if uniform isnt updated, managment begins harassing you about new uniform. its not worth it, to get paid as much you do, to be buying a uniform that overall avg out to about 300, then a handbag that they urge you to purchase which is 150, and then being given hours such as 4.5 every other day...

Pros

- fast paced days with lots of client interaction and team building moments - fun product dropped monthly with opportunities to be the first to own popular drops - opportunities to grow* - a great starting place to learn how to provide an elevated shopping experience and learn how to build a client book

Cons

- * Opportunities to grow only present themselves if you have a positive relationship with the management team and/or the DM - Corporate tends to lead on candidates and promise advancements or change verbally but little is done to correct behavior or advance within the company - Your store manager will determine whether the team is harmonious and fair, can be a double edged sword - you will be asked to do tasks or take on projects outside of your position with no additional compensation. It will be heavily frowned upon to decline said opportunities and tended to lead to being denied advancements - during ICE activities in the city, Coach refused to make a statement and or provide guidelines to how we as a store should respond. Associates were punished for absences related back to ICE activities
