Pros

Some talented colleagues who genuinely care about their work. Benefits are great, Perhaps one of the best in the market Flexible work environment and work-life balance.

Cons

Accountability is selective — some employees do very little yet face no consequences, while others carry the weight. Leadership is widely seen as untrustworthy; feedback is often insincere and retaliatory, so staff avoid speaking openly. A pervasive lack of trust; people have “corridor conversations” rather than raising issues formally. Unconscious bias is severe and ignored, damaging careers and morale. No real protection from unfair managers. Internal applications are often leaked to current managers, creating opportunities for retaliation. Grievance processes exist only on paper — investigations overwhelmingly side with managers. Confidential information does not always stay confidential. Promotions and recognition favor relationships and office politics over merit leaving many competent employees stagnant while less-qualified individuals advance.

Pros

The NY location is close to Grand Central Station

Cons

Slow Canadian culture that finds it challenging to meet US regulatory standards. Executives play favorites and gaslight employees, if you voice your opinion, they either silence you or try to manage you out with exaggerated "performance issues"
