      Pros

      In a smaller market, CBRE produces great referrals...but only if you are in a position to receive them. Great name recognition

      Cons

      downside of referral business is that splits are low and if you aren't receiving much from the network, you can probably make more with a different shop

      They provide a wealth of learning materials to further your career.

      Cons

      My experience was that upper management does not understand what those in lower level positions do, and they don't take advantage of experience and knowledge of those below them to make strategic decisions.
