Having started with Belden March of this year, during the height of the covid-19 shelter in place order, my first 6 months have be much different than anticipated. And it has been in a good way! I have had the opportunity to work with a great cross section of people across the organization and I cannot say enough good things about these folks. They have patiently taught me the systems and processes I use in my role. My direct line manager and those I support both directly and indirectly have been incredibly supportive during my onboarding time as I learn new systems and preferences. Tons of opportunity to contribute within my team and definitely see even more opportunities as I ramp up. I respect how leadership has navigated the covid-19 pandemic to ensure the safety of employees, while securing the stability of the company. I appreciate the communications that come from leadership, both on the challenging issues of our times and on the positive activities that are happening within the organization. The board and leadership made the transition of CEOs seamless.
Cons
Would like to see more agility and innovation around the technology platforms for the user community. Internal systems and processes are fairly complex. Organizational structure is challenging to understand and alignment of brands could be clearer.
