Pros

The firm is very client focused and is not being run like a giant casino out to game the system. The senior management is very focused on keeping communication lines with employees open.

Cons

I am part of the IT Graduate Analyst program and my person experience has been awful - there are 3, 6-month rotations you have to complete - irrespective of the fact that you have Master's degree or not and then once you get a permanent placement, there is just no word on when you will get elevated to the next title. I have great finance, math and programming background and was hoping to look for a role that would require a good mix of these skills. Unfortunately, anyone with an IT background is considered a third-rate citizen of the bank. IT people have to fill in time-sheets which I think is a gross and uncomfortable experience.

Pros

Can’t think of 1. Not even 1.

Cons

Pay is the lowest compared to similar company with the same role. Upper management speaks to staff with a patronizing tone; cutting them off, and talking down to them. At times it felt like they purposefully were attempting to find things wrong instead of working together as a team to meet objectives. Understaffed. Fully expected to do the work of a team of 6 despite being a team of 2 for example.
