Pros

Great and helpful colleagues. Generous number of sick days.

Cons

Even as a software developer, you are required to report all of your investments, as well as those of your spouse and children, every quarter. You do not have administrative rights to your computer and cannot install or use any tools not explicitly provided by the company. Furthermore, internet access is extremely restricted, making it difficult to find resources or documentation. You lack permissions for almost everything and must create a ticket for every single request. Someone calculated that a new joiner needs to submit 60–70 tickets before they can even start working. Endless mandatory training sessions—around 15 every three months—that are completely irrelevant to our actual work. Sometimes requests are not fulfilled, forcing you to chase people to get things done. If you are ignored, you have to ask your manager to use their authority to push the request through—and sometimes, you even have to chase your boss to chase the other person. Projects can be delayed for weeks simply because you lack the necessary access rights. The yearly salary increases are disappointing. The only significant raise comes with a promotion, which occurs, on average, once every 25 years.
