Pros

There are still some great people left who strive to do the Right Thing

Cons

but not many. and those that are are always in danger of having their job transferred overseas to a lower-cost economy. Performance management is used to reduce pay increases and demotivate workers so that they will leave. There is a policy, driven by the financial controllers, to offshore as many jobs as possible. It may never make the UK news, but "BT created 1000 new jobs in India" actually means that 1000 jobs are going elsewhere in BT.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
