Pros

I can't think of any that applied for me. They are trying to change it but its happening very slowly and I really don't know if they will ever get there.

Cons

I honestly can't think of a more bizarre place to work. As a senior manager I wasn't allowed to sign off the most simple things, everything must be passed up the chain, there is no autonomy or empowerment. Employees were treated more as an inconvenience to the business, never communicated with or truly consulted with on changes to the business. When I first joined I was struck by the sheer incredible volume of powerpoint decks being produced and that I was asked to produce to report to senior leaders on this, that and the other - stuff that they should just entrust their teams to get on with. These decks were produced to the detriment of the actual work getting done. In the changes they were implementing just as I left, they were saying lots of things were changing, but if you just scratched the surface of the changes, you found it was just the same old-same old underneath.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
