Pros

Work life balance due to hybrid

Cons

In my experience, if you want promotions here, it often feels like you either need to be close to SMT or HR, be someone’s relative, or be part of personal favoritism. I got tired of being rejected repeatedly, especially when the reasons were indirectly admitted in personal conversations like, “Yaar mujhe usko promote karna tha, isliye tujhe nahi liya” or “Woh meri team ki hai.” After hearing things like this multiple times, it becomes very difficult to stay motivated. I’ve faced this a lot, and honestly, I’m exhausted now. I don’t think the company itself is the problem, the real issue is the people in management who hold the power and choose to favor their own circle instead of giving opportunities to genuinely skilled and deserving employees.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
