Pros

Very interesting medical device and hospital products mfg. right here in the Lehigh Valley. Located off RT22 at the airport. A variety of modern technologies utilized offering new or current employees a wealth of opportunity to contribute and learn. Friendly people, amenities, and strong benefit plan. Well spoken of in the local and regional community. Also Well spoken of in various professional circles and organizations.

Cons

Current US based President (from Germany) is too hyper-focused on DEI. This is distracting from more important opportunities (and issues) here in Allentown. IT dept. and 'IT related systems' is past due for a major restructuring and revamp. A major restructuring/revamp will improve efficiencies, reduce downtime and non-value added actions/activities plus enhance morale in Allentown. HR is not actively engaged with the mfg. and office domains in Allentown. Come out of the bubble and see/feel the pulse of the operations. Two (2) tiered disciplinary system exists (favoring some 'tenured folks') which causes morale and other issues (esp. for the newer folks). Level the 'disciplinary field' to be equal for all employees both new and tenured. EHS / Safety culture needs more focus and prioritization too.

Pros

Great company, pay, and work life balance. A great way to transition out of bedside nursing.

Cons

Travel all over the US two weeks out of the month as a part time employee so you have to know that going in.

Pros

Not really much to say other then that if you like working 12 hours a day just for only 3 days in one week and then 4 days the next week, you're not really making enough to cover income.

Cons

Not guaranteed overtime. You could sign up for it and the odds of getting it is very limited. Not guaranteed to get hired on and they could end assignments anytime. You don't make that great of a pay and even if you do get hired on, your options are very limited when it comes to be certified in different areas and you don't have a choice to where you want to be, you end up being in a position that you don't like due to poor management.
