Pros

Pay is good. Building is nice, but some equipment is old. If you play the game you'll fit in.

Cons

It was the worst place i ever worked. Racism, favortism, prejudice place with some very nasty people and upper management. People have no respect for one another, some people in manufacturing out to constantly get one another. Upper management needs to take classes on how to be respectful to there employees and that includes people of various nationalities. If your don't fit in the box and your not liked you could be out the door just because. And stop lying so much about everything. They want the employee to be respectful but talk to them disrespectfully. Never have enough items to get your job done, how are you suppose to be successful. Stop letting a few bad people in various areas, especially manufacturing destroy the reputation of the company and that includes your upper management and managers. Sometimes when you mention Medimmune, people say oh i hear thats a terrible place to work. It is so true....

Pros

I imagine this is very dependent on line management but I find my team and supervisors to be true champions of a high performing and highly compassionate work culture. I find my work challenging and rewarding, and have had opportunities to learn and grow and be rewarded and recognized for my output. No job is perfect but I’m truly happy to work here and at a time when AZ is truly rising like a rocket.

Cons

Like any massive global corporate entity, things can sometimes move slowly and it can be challenging to navigate a high number of constantly evolving priorities and initiatives. That being said, AZ is very clear about its north stars and values which makes it possible to prioritize work that has the most impact and alignment with the company’s ambition and business prerogatives. 60% office attendance policy is also a bit funny when oftentimes I am on Teams calls with colleagues sitting in other areas of the world.
