Pros

I left ASAP after getting a new job: 1. Compensation if you're a top performer is not horrible 2. You will probably find friends/comfort in your fellow associates 3. Office location is great and office isn't terrible

Cons

I was a top performer here and hit peak bonus every single month. In turn they piled work on me, forced me to mentor underperformers, promoted me early with no compensation boost, and burned me out in 9 months. I hated every second of working here and it took a tremendous toll on my mental health and made me question my intelligence. I went to a strong university and to come here and be surrounded by so many stupid people genuinely was the worst decision I could have made. At the winter party managers and VPs get wasted and talk poorly about interns and new joiners, criticizing their personal life, appearance and other things. It is cliquey and you can skate by if you're "normal" in their eyes - they'll like you and kiss up to you but then when you leave they will try to screw you over and make your life miserable. It's like a sorority and the worst part is the people that love it here think that this job is impressive. 1. Management is immature, unproffess, plays favorites 2. The work is draining and so micromanagey 3. You have to come in at 7:30 and leave at 6 for NO REASON. This work can all be done at home 4. You have to treat your clients like GOD when they are normal people who want to be treated like normal people 5. The work is immoral 6. You will feel embarrassed by your job and scared for your career long term 7. You will work with incredibly stupid people 8. It's basically like a fake job you learn nothing except for how to type quickly and speak in corporate jargon and make a market map quickly

Pros

All around really great people culture, for the most part everyone is super driven and willing to help You definitley do earn early responsibility especially if you show early aptitude It's fun getting to own client relationship at a young age

Cons

Work and day can be tedious and feel repetitive, you must like talking to people all day, every day The hurdle performance tracking can be stressful for younger Associates Increasingly tighter competition as clients seek to find cheaper alternatives Exit opportunities can feel limited to account management/customer success work
