Politics at work does not allow meaningful engineering work - Engineer Airbus Employee Review

Team managers and department heads are on a power trip. HR is incompetent. Treatment of subcontractors is bad. High amount of politics among peer groups. Pay is below par compared to market trends. Lots of favouritism, need to work or pretend to work long hours to be in the good books of management. Jobs that Europe does not want are sent to the India office. No meaningful engineering work. Your career cannot progress here. The only options to grow are either lead engineer or manager but you'll be stuck in your role for years on capped salary.
