Pros

Pay is decent for the work and the managers are usually kind and helpful. Training was pretty easy. I personally think the work is not too hard, it’s a lot of organizing the store. I also enjoy cashiering because the customers are nice for the most part and we get to sit down so my feet don’t hurt too bad at the end of the day. Another pro is that they have been respectful of my schedule requests and time-off requests. I always work closing shifts.

Cons

The major downside for some people is that shifts are long, usually 8 hours or more.

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
